Xena
Time had come and time had passed; a new scent was wafting along on the wind. Xena could feel it deep within her still mortal thinking mind that things were about to explode; that time itself might end in chaos. The air had grown stale around her as her own memories, and the memories of so many mistakes amongst the inhabitants of the land, came to be known by her. The regrets of the gods for cursing the horses; the regrets of those misunderstood that had been cursed for one wrong deed; the regrets of the regular...Her mind was reeling out of control, and there was little she could do to stop it, except seek the guidance and help of the more experienced gods and goddesses. There were many of the gods she had not even met with yet. She had met with Bristile, the god of time, and with Kallistei, the goddess of love, when she first was given her title. She had seen some of Bristile, and little of Kallistei in her time in this foresaken place. She had met the god of fire; the rather uncharming Diablo. His opinion of her perdicament would be foolish-that much she knew. But, in order to understand anything, she had to at least accept the fact that the low-life colt was indeed another god. She could swallow her pride, swallow her pain at his awful face, if only for a moment to spend with the others and figure this out. What gods and goddesses even still remained? Xena knew that once the subjects stopped believing, stopped worshipping, then their power would start to fade away. Xena could feel the strain on her already, as time trickled on...and she had been such a young goddess.
Her eyes flicked back and forth as she looked onto the pillars; crumbling and falling apart as they were. Where had the glory days gone now? When the gods and goddesses reigned supreme over all that was holy and good, and the mares, fillies, and colts all looked up to them. Why could she have not been made a god back in those days? She grunted, and shook her crown. Something was brewing in the works, and it steamed from the regrets of this world. Something that was her department…something that Bristile and Kallistei knew the most about besides Xena. Whether it was the regrets that she had stolen; if only briefly; from Bristile that day, or if some other being in this world had such strong regrets that it was affected Xena…something was going on and she had to alert the others.
OOC: I may potentially edit it or change it up a little, but this is all I got. *fail muse*
