Okay. So, this is a plot involving Valkyrie AND Xena, and the plots that I had with them.
I had discussed this with Hoss and Ruffy, I believe I had discussed part of it with Mazz as well, a while back through PMs. Because it relied on the other plots to get underway, and didn't really need too many other players, I hadn't posted it in here. But, seeing as we're doing a site revamp, I wanted to go ahead and post it, see if it was still on, and get everyone else's opinion on it. It's really a big character builder plot for Valkyrie and Xena.
So. As we have discussed, Xena ends up with Brisitle. Now, with her goddess audition, I had mentioned something a little bit more; that with the war (which I don't know is still on) they would need her planning strategies and therefore Xena eventually moves from the Goddess of Regret to the Goddess of War. ((Either way doesn't matter, just a side note.))
ANYWAY, Xena, after she feels comfortable in her own skin, starts her search to find Gabrielle again in the afterlife. (Since logically, she would end up with Hades, right?) So, Xena goes to see Hades to find Gabrielle, and perhaps save the souls that she had damned in her warmonger days. But, Hades cannot find her in the book of souls/whatever the heck we're calling it. ..Gabrielle, according to the versus of the universe, does not exist.
Meanwhile, Valkyrie has been going through her plot with Neytiri and Valek. So, she's on this quest to kill him to get back at her mother anyway. She runs into him before she realizes that it is him, and is intrigued by the beast. Anyway, as she's trying to track Valek, she runs into Hades, who commissions her to kill him, and kind of tells her why. Valkyrie agrees, but not wanting to accidentally kill Neytiri and invoke the wrath of Hades (as if she actually could kill her), she demands that Hades take Neytiri away and claim that she is dead. (Yay! Kill something you already want dead and get paid for it!) Anyway, so Hades takes Neytiri away, and she is gone long enough that Valek begins to believe that she is dead, and Valkryie is there to siddle up to him. Her specialty is to trick them into trusting her and then kill them...but she ends up falling in love with Valek. And he sort of starts liking her. But then, Neytiri breaks out of wherever Hades is holding her, and runs straight for Valek.
And, just like that, he instantly forgets Valkyrie. Enraged, she kills him. (And in good time to, cause Hades was just about to send Fox to kill her and do the task.)
And instantly in doing so, she regrets it. Alerting Xena to the predicament. Neytiri becomes enraged, but sees that Valkyrie regrets it, and makes a plan with Valkyrie to save Valek. In seeing Valkyrie marching toward hells gates, Hades has a spark of recognition. Through some gambling and negotiation, she and Neytiri strike a deal with Hades, and they release Valek. Seeing Neytiri fade it seemed before his eyes, Hades becomes angry...but ((can't remember how this happens)) Valkyrie convinces him to let them go, knowing that Valek won't love her, and Valkyrie agrees to stay in Hades realm as company. (Kind of like Persephone...) And Hades is calmed sort of by Valkyrie's presence, because it reminds him so much of her...
But, he still can't stand her for very long, so he only keeps her there for the winter seasons, then lets her go back to the mortal realms. Neytiri has become Valkyrie's friend, and Valek kind of has some odd respect for her because she managed to kill him. So, eventually, Valek sort of loves them both. ANYWAY.
So. MEANWHILE, Xena is on her quest for Gabrielle, and goes to seek Hades. In seeing Hades, she sees Valkyrie, and has a spark of recognition. She leaves Hades in a confused mess.
LATER, she sees Valkyrie again with Valek and Neytiri. Something clicks, and she confronts Valkyrie about where she is from. Bristile joins in, having a spark of recognition when seeing Valkyrie as well, and they all go to Hades; having decided it was time to storm Valhalley as Valkyrie so much wanted.
So. They do. And. DRUM ROLL PLEASE.
Gabrielle, as the queen of the Valhallians, is there to greet them. Her army is prepared, but in seeing Hades, she drops everything. Having been torn from her true love, she loathed her existence and became bitter toward it; hence why she did the awful thing to Valkyrie. It was Ember who had "killed" her; in a way to get back at his father...for loving his daughter...so much...but Hades had sent her soul to the mortal realm of the time in hiding, to save her from Ember destroying her soul...but Ember found out somehow and was the tool in her very demise by creating Dahak and therefore the demon child Hope...but when Gabrielle killed herself, she had been given the right of caste by the amazonians, and was transcended into the queen of the Valhallians...which is a seperate, unknown world to most as it is the tool of the apocalypse, so the gods knew very little of it and could not enter it or know it's inhabitants. HENCE why she's been hidden from everyone. With renewed emotions, Gabrielle becomes the goddess of hope.
SO...the point of this: Valkyrie is really Neytiri's half sister. Gabrielle was Neytiri's mother, and the secret lover of Hades because she was hiding it from her father, Bristile. Ember killed her, but Hades saved her by sending her to the mortal realm where she lived with Xena. Ember found out, pretty much forced her to kill herself, but instead of going to Tartarus; she was made the queen of Valhalley. Having gone through this, and found by Xena, Hades, Bristile, Valkyrie, and Neytiri, she becomes the goddess of hope/peace/whatever. (Whatever Xena is by then...she should be the opposite...because...yea..)
