Let's think about this. We have:

when looking at the above list, I think that we should first eliminate the Volcano position. And with the Storms audition, we can start thinking about holding some kind of balance. It would be nice to have some kind of balance between power. For example, Fire cancels out Storms, Fear to Love, Death to Time, War to Truth, and Desert is unmatched.

So...I chose Space also, for that reason. It was either that or Air. It was difficult :3

I don't think a Goddess of Peace would be a good idea, though. Kalli has that covered, if anyone.

Desert > Storms(cause there ain't many storms in the desert, except dust storms...)

Could be. But I don't want things to be too obvious, because I don't think it's healthy for the site and its plots. I paired Fire with Storms because Storms can include rain, earth storms, fire storms as well, but they halfway cancel each other out.

Time is always fooling with Death, because Time either forces you to die, which gives Death another soul to take care of, or it keeps you from dying, which tends to throw Death's plans off...

Regret and truth are a comparison entirely spawned from my brain. I believe they are virtual opposites, because regret can throw things out of proportion, can't it? And often what you think is true isn't always entirely true.

Desert is more of a companion to Space, even though they're different. Deserts are open, arid, spacious. But Space beats Desert in that it's really nothing. Not just empty air, but...nothing.

War destroys, Genesis creates.

And if you don't love, then you often fear.

Okay, so I have several things to say!!!!

I'm liking the idea of having another God/Goddess, or two, however I would like to add something else as well. Our Gods/Goddesses are rather shaping up like the Greek Gods and Goddesses....call me crazy, but that's just how they are shaping out - their personalities, the way they interact......

Anywhozit, keep that thought in mind. I suppose I'm afraid that none of the divinities up for possible voting really strike my fancy except for air/sky, and I will explain why.

Peace - peace is very subjective, and I honestly don't think the role player would have a whole lot of power. The god/goddess would be a minor one for sure, and I guess it just seems....too minor.

Genesis - again, a very minor god/goddess, and he or she would be subject to Bristile, because beginnings are with time. Nothing could begin if time doesn't exist. As for the beginning of time, then we're getting into all sorts of advanced, scientific and philosophical theories that I don't think we should bring onto this site.

Space - holy shit. On the complete opposite of the spectrum, this divinity is WAY. TOO. POWERFUL... LIKE. MONDO POWERFUL. The God/Goddess of Space would be in control of EVERYTHING. Let me explain:

There is more space than there is anything in the universe. Space is what is in between everything - it's what's in between your fingers, in between air particles, in between molecules, in between atoms, in between electrons.........O.o. IT'S IN BETWEEN EVERYTHING. For example, if you were to take all the space out of the Empire State Building, you would end up with a pill sized hunk of metal that weighs a couple thousand tons. So what I'm saying, is that Space would be in control of EVERYTHING. He/She could blast anything into billions of pieces, all gods and goddesses would be subject to him, he could take out Gods and Goddesses, etc. So basically, if Space is in a bad mood, all of life could be extinguished. Kaput. So there is my reasoning for why we should not have Space.

Now, for why I think Sky would be alright. (lol I should have put it up there, i didn't notice it before I voted). Because Sky is a major God/Goddess, who doesn't have the power to destroy the universe, but does have quite a bit of power. So that's all grand.

So basically, I think before we go off on Peace and Genesis, we should take care of all the major positions first. Here are my suggestions:

Sky

Sea

Wisdom

Sun/Moon

Possibly some minor Earth Gods/Goddesses - (again, God/Goddess of the Earth would be extremely powerful - in Greek Mythology Gaea had to be put to sleep because she kept destroying everything.)
-ex: God/Goddess of seasons, marshes, plants, trees, etc.

So yeah. My ideas. Sorry, I'm a bit in a Greek mood as I've always been a fan and I just reread Percy Jackson....

I'm liking all your ideas, but so far my favourite has to be Khanny's idea of having a God/Goddess of Chaos.

If we're trying to go for opposite's here, then the opposite of desert, naturally, would be the sea, because while there is little or no water in the desert there's plenty of water in the sea. So if Karii and a God/Goddess of the Sea ever fought it would end with the seas having no water and the desert's being flooded. So there, opposites.

Other than that, there needs to be a few new opposites introducing. Night and Day for instance? Or as Hoss put it, Sun and Moon. They wouldn't have an incredible amount of actual power but what they do -keeping the days and nights in balance- would give them enough importance to be considered among the major Gods and Goddesses.
