Claiming

Legend

I raced through the forest as fast as I could, searching for it. I had been looking for days, never tiring. I just couldn't stop; I wasn't sure why but I just new I had to find the valley where I would claim my own land. I hadn't found a valley anywhere and I wasn't even sure if I was looking in the right place, I just had a feeling that this was where it had to be. It must be here, I thought and that would have been the only thought I had if I hadn't stumbled upon a stream right then because my next thought was where is this coming from? I started following the stream but then it became dark and I knew I had to find somewhere to sleep. I kept following the stream but I was also looking for somewhere to stay for the night.

About an hour later I found a cave and went inside to rest. My dark black coat was beginning to sweat. The next morning the first thought I thought of was following the stream, so I did just that. The morning sun lit up the white star on my forehead, the only white mark I had on me at all. It wasn't long before I found where it was coming from, a waterfall. I then looked to my left and saw a sparkling lake; I looked to my right and I saw what I was looking for, the valley. I stomped all of my hooves and yelled, "I, Legend claim this valley as my own."
