Here's the scoop. I'm getting a new horse. She's gorgeous, sweet, special to me, and a LOT. OF. WORK. As I'm sure some of y'all will understand. Given that she's only track-broke (as a Thoroughbred, she's within a year or two fresh off the track) and she's going to be a huge step-up from my lil' old Flicka, I will be completely redoing my schedule with her training and my other after-school activities.
November is also NaNoWriMo month and for anyone who's heard of it, that means practicing my 'literary abandon' skills for 30 days. For anyone who hasn't, check it out --> nanowrimo.org (because it's really, really cool!) I'll have to write extra quick to beat the Nov. 25th deadline, when my Russian class goes to, well, Russia. So that's why you all might not see me at all next month.

Oh. 'Royal Raconteur' sounds like he won the English Derby and you shipped him over here from France. xD Ellie has a slightly *LESS* impresive record, though they say she was nominated for the Breeders' Cup. But I haven't seen her papers yet. ANDIFINALLYRODEHERTODAYOMYGOSHSHEWASAWESOME!! She's been hyper after being inactive so long, but she has the nicest, longest stride--ironically, it reminds me so much of this colt called Billy...who is the only other Thoroughbred I've ever adored and had the good fortune to ride him (once). Ellie is also the first horse I've ever lunged.
Haw-haw, I missed ya so much! I'm counting on you, if I can. Okay? Next month, starting...20 days from now...if you see me here, tell me to go write and be productive with my life, or threaten me or something. I'm counting on you! Lord knows y'all just zap my brain cells by the minute making me stick around here

LOL. Roy is a fantastic jumper, but he was a CRAPPY racehorse......he never won a race. xD

See, I love looking up horse names! Thoroughbred pedigree searching is my specialty. If that's him, he's GORGEOUS. B-e-a-u-tiful!
He's got an awesome bloodline: Princequillo, Secretariat's father, Nearco, Mumtaz Begum, Native Dancer, Hyperion, Northern Dancer, Omaha, Nearctic...all these all familiar to me.

That's Ellie's. I don't have a subscription, so it doesn't have a picture. But there's Northern Dancer, Touch Tone, Deputy Commander, Buckpasser, Vice Regent, Clever Trick, Majestic Prince, Bold Ruler, Icecapade and Shenanigans (Ruffian's momma and brother!!!)
