Persona: Hikari is an indifferent character. He's not the type to choose sides, but doesn't mind a good fight. He's your typical equine, before the corruption of the world of equines. A character with the personality to easily match a normal human. Kind to friends, wary of strangers, yet always a bit paranoid. He's almost always tense, and for good reason. However, Hikari has dark side. A side that he doesn't like to take control. The side of him that has an unbearable urge to kill. The side of the cursed.

He can be sweet at times, but his mood can change faster than you can blink. Some call him bipolar. Others call him strange, which it is, no one would ever know. He's an odd character, evenstill, and doesn't mind letting it show. Hikari can be quite the showoff, and if he wants your attention, he'll go to almost any length to get it. Oh, yes. This boy loves attention. Whether it's from a predator stalking him, to the sweet eyes of a mare, he loves to know that someone, or something, has it's eyes on him. The spotlight is a place where he can show what he can truly be. A beast with a taste for adventure and danger, but willing to slow down for those close to him. A being that would murder to keep things the same.
History: Hikari was always the odd one out. Always wanting to be different, and thus, he strived to do so. However, this often times got him into trouble with the herd leaders, and the other adults, as he acts of individuality were always extreme. It was in this that the youngster learned how he could be the center of attention, and that, is exactly what he began to crave. He'd attack the fillies, knowing someone would pay him attention, even if he was getting trouble. Truthfully, Hikari wasn't sure what caused him to want attention. It wasn't like all eyes were never on him anyway because of his ignorant tactics.

Even as time went on, Hikari still strived to be in the spotlight, to be noticed by at least one pair of eyes. What he didn't realize was his two years in the life he'd always known was it. It was time for him to leave. Over the years, his father had warned him of the dangers in the real world, though Hikari had always been confused about the topic. After all, who would harm him as long as he was surrounded by numbers? He never realized that he one day had to take his leave or be killed by the leader. His father explained the night before Hikari's departure that it was a security issue. Hikari caused so many problems, and wanted the spotlight so badly, the leader of the herd feared that the young stallion would try to take his place, as the old stag was in his elder years.

When the young stallion, only two, did leave the herd behind, he felt as if something where always watching him, and the feeling he craved. However, he never realized that what watched him wanted him dead. He was only a week into his lonesome when he was attacked by a pack of wolves. He managed to escape with two dead and many scars marring his appaloosa pelt. However, all it took was the killing of two wolves for him to realize. The blood that covered his body, he loved it. His or not. It gave him a sort of rush.

After a year of travelling alone, the stallion felt he were going insane! Often times he'd stop to chat with a passing equine, but it never ceased the lonliness in his heart. For once in his life, he felt vulnerable. It was this that caused him to become more cruel than ever before. Each time he crossed the path of another equine, he either bred, if female, or murdered, if male. It was the same routine.

His second year of travel led him no where. However, two mares now followed him loyally, and he had no reason to have that streak of sadism. He had let it fade to the shadows of his mind, and he was at peace for once in his life. It made him feel happy. He felt protected, and compelled to protect the two mares that followed him. After all, there was oh so loyal to him, why not protect him? Hikari, however, never realized the trouble this caused.

After being with the mare's for six months, Hikari encountered the first fight for dominance with a young brute named Orgon. The stallion was much older. Much more experienced. This, Hikari was unaware of. While the two brutes battles, the femmoras stood aside. They were the prize to the winner. Hikari was at a high advantage, until a traumatic blow to his left eye. Immediately he weilded back in pain. Orgon then sent a devastating blow to the young stud's crania.

Luckily, the blow did not kill, and when Hikari woke finally, he saw that one, he was now blind in his left eye, and the entire eye was white, and two, the mares whom had followed him to loyallly were dead. Mauled horribly. He mourned over them, and tried to allow himself time to heal. Overtime, he saw that the blow to his crania only knocked him out, not fracture anything in the least bit, though something strange did happen. His mind began to react oddly, and two months after the fight, Hikari began to see things differently. His mind could now give him an image of a sound, and the image in his mind would match the object clearly. Perfectly. It was different, but Hikari much enjoyed the new development.

After a month of alone travel, he found lands that he saw fit to settle upon. Those lands are here, and it is here that he decides to stay.
