GROWING born into a simple family with the intelligence to out think an army, she was transferred to the same battle school Ender attended as a young colt, where she attended for longer time but was separated from her family, home, origin, and became a part of Ender's jeesh; their only difference was Petra's being more ambitious and a strategist, like Ender, and she felt not as much remorse to the enemy's destruction as Ender did.
SEPARATION split up from Ender and most of her friends and returned to Tainted Paradise where she was taken captive by Achilles, who had heard of her brilliance and used her, as he had also taken an affectionate liking to her, but Petra detested him and soon led the rebellion with Virlomi against him to escape his herd.
NOMAD traveled with Virlomi after that and they became an inseparable pair, trusting only each other
