Persona:

She looks all light and perky like any Arab should be, but she is not. She trusts only her closest friends, and it takes a while for her to really befriend anybody. She is fairly tough for an Arabian, but she also has a very dainty personality. She is very quiet, and a bit flighty, but she is intelligent and fairly kind when she wants to be. She loves running, and she loves hot climates. She prefers to be on her own, but she is not scared of other horses, and is not scared of stallions as many mares can be. She is frightened only when the need arises.

History:

She was born in the desert, but she did not stay there. Her name came from the herd she went to after she was born when her father died. They moved to a somewhat cooler climate, and the lead stallion, a jolly fellow who talked very loudly with a heavy accent, decided that the new filly was so beautiful, that she would be called Desert Rose. However, the name in English was far to boring, so her name is German.

She lived with that herd for some time, and then she grew up and when another stallion and his herd visited hers, she left with the other herd. She lived with him for some time, but then when he lost a battle and was forced to give up his land and mares to another stallion, they began to move to the mountains, and so she took flight. She ran to her homeland, the desert, and has been there ever since.
