The War of the Worlds

The debate among the Gods has not gone well. The Gods and Goddesses have not reached a real agreement, but they have been able to come up with one thing to do: The Cursed may be freed and wait for judgment bye the Gods, or fight for their place among the mortals. However, not all of the Gods agree with this. After slinking away from the meeting, the Lord of Fear has his own ideas about what will happen to the Cursed, though his plan may not affect all of them.

War is inevitable. Mortals fear the tremendous thunderstorms that the Gods have been making, and when the word spreads, what will they think? The majority of the mortals do not wish for any Cursed to return among them, and will fight them, even if they wish for redemption. Even if they have changed. Some mortals will join these good Cursed, and fight against them, but the overwhelming number of terrified mortals might just bring them down. On another end, some of the Cursed do not wish to leave their mortal lives, and instead wish to be rid of the mortals, and beg the more war happy gods for their immortality. There will be discontent among many, friendships will sever. There is nobody trustworthy, and the Great War between the worlds of the Mortals and the Cursed is at it's dawning.


Alrighty folks, it's time to get violent xD. Lol, well, in character at least. So, we are going to need a show of hands of who's going to be bringing characters in, and what characters. I'd rather there be more than two or three people, but good Lord if it ends up being me and one other person, by golly I'll do it. xD. Anyhoo, just yer name and the list of charries will do. Now, here are some "rules" for the war. I'm not trying to grab a power position, these are open for editing:

• This is not going to run in one on one battles like on most sites. There will be no "hits" and "dodges" and no judges. I think we are all quite capable of handling ourselves. Since most of our Gods are Greek, we'll use a greek war system. Legions (5000) Centuries (100) etc. We will also be using Greek rankings as well, though I doubt that we'll have a lot of Legions, though this is a big world.
  
• Power play will be used in this warfare. It makes the whole thing run a lot smoother, but power play must be at the consent of the other players. We will also be role playing random characters that we make up on the spot who don't really have a major part. So really, this is sort of going to be a joint novel writing. lol
  
• So, being warfare, it's going to be gory, graphic, and people are GUNNA DIE. So, it would be advisable to make a lot of characters, because lots of them are probably going to die. Also, I think that maybe in a few circumstances, the 100 word posting rule should be relaxed, because most of this is action. Or at least, you don't have to post 100 words per character.
  

I think those are some spiffy rules. Also, God Participation:

Gods will be participating, I know Bristile will. However, they are not going to be able to just wipe out eighty of the other soldiers all at once. They have to bring themselves down to the mortals level for this....or at least....sort of. Meaning, Ember can rapidly change forms and scare the living daylights out of the opponents, Kallesti can make soldiers fall in love with her, Bristile can be a beast, Diablo can set things on fire, etc. you get the picture. Just...not in hundreds because that would be somewhat pointless of a war. (sorry if your god was not mentioned, take no offense i was just rattling off a few that popped into my head)


Also, there will be ranking applications, and Gods automatically can have senior ranks. Here are the positions that they will be going for:

• The Dux (leader): The Legion commander, and commander of the entire army. He's sort of the head honcho, controls all of his legion, what happens, where lower officers take their centuries, etc or something like that. The General most likely seeing as there will probably be only one legion per army or something.
  
• Centurion: The middle Dudes, they range in ranking, senior ones being like Colonels, and the less senior ones being like army Captains. Lots of these guys.
  
• Broad Band Tribune, Camp Prefect: Second and third in command of the Legion. Senior officers.
  

Those are the ones I have so far, add on or edit if you like. Yeah!!!!!!!!

Okay Hoss, here are the characters of mine that are for sure going to be in. The ones that I actually care about.

1. Ava, of course. She is the goddess of truth, and she wouldn't miss this war for the world. Although she doesn't agree with it.

2. Chemical Romance (Mazz, maybe we could get her and Kyro back together here? Like one of them gets seriously injured and the other one cares for the injured?)

3. Nakoma might be, although probably not. She is a cursed, but she's more of a peaceful soul. But she is the one who started this whole thing, so maybe we can find her a part somewhere? Someplace where she won't be physically fighting, but using her brains, or delivering messages back and forth or something.

4. Sienna. I shall create her here. She's a fierce mare and a great fighter. She shall be part of the battle, but maybe we could do something interesting with her also.

5. Kana would also be willing to participate, but she won't fight. She's never really been in a fight and would definitly die against those better fighters.

Okay, 5 main characters in one fight is enough for me. But I will be more then happy to play thousands of short posting possible death characters. Anyways, just let me know. And thanks hoss, for getting this all set up.

Hey guys, I'd like to add my charries here, too!!^^

1) Summer Heat and Infinant Cold will probably fight, but not for anyone but themselves. They'll just try to survive, most likely and will not take any sides.

2) Spitfire will surely fight! She's on the Mortals side, I think. I was wondering if she could be a cursed? Maybe...

3) Necromancer. Definetly an evil stallion here. I'd like for him to be a cursed and possibly a head huncho or Dux as Wild calls them.

4) Diablo of course. He doesn't want to start a war, but will fight as he sees fit. He'll be one HECK of an opponent when he unleashes his full anger!

5) Wicca...I shall create her bio and I wanna make her a cursed.

6) Hatsuden. It means Hydro (water) in Japanese and maybe he can kinda be like a bridge between two parties? Water is known for its healing properties, after all.^^

7) Ganandorf is gonna be VERY evil. Maybe. I just know he's gonna be a big brute.

8) Fallen Star. A kind-hearted mare trapped as a cursed horse, if that's alright.

Haha... all my charries are/will be organized by plots in THIS thread but I feel he need to post here as well just to clear up. : )

• Graye will fight because he's got the 'oh poor me I'm half wolf no one will love me never ever again until I prove myself worthy in battle and reconcile for the animals my savage wolf self killed' attitude going on.
  
• D'artagnan doesn't even have his power yet. But he'll probably go to war although he'll be scared of it, he just doesn't want to be left out.
  
• Ingid fights for the thrill. And to ride out his temper. And because literal 'firepower' comes in handy. Though he's a bit easily swayed...I get see some pretty chick luring him over to the evil ones.
  
• Jengl and Iounq are an odd...couple. One will want to fight (big brother)and the mellow one will want to stay at home but if they're apart they lose their powers. So they might grudgingly have to be in the war together but at least one will go.
  
• Ovid won't fight. Though I see im traveling between alliances. To speak his peace and get information.
  
• Constantine is half-vampire horse. He can't resist a fight. I think it would be interesting (and sooo fun) if he trooped around with a band of little rebels that did guerilla tactics, aligned with neither gods nor cursed but fought against the Cursed just not in any organized fashion. He' LOOOVE that.
  
• Desmond can't get away from Ezio and Altair, so of course he'll fight. Reluctantly. But he'll turn out a warrior, and hoping he'll rise to he high ranks.
  
• Skyte won't directly fight, this poor guy is scared of his own shadow. But he'll pobbly get dragged in sooner or later and he has Cursed-o-phobia...so...
  
• Tovik is a warrior. Yeah, he's fighting with the gods. Looking to lead, too.
  
• Ebon won't dare miss the war. Secretly he's out fighting for Sylvi.
  
• Samantha has her own issues, but I can see her being aligned with the normal horses just not in the thick of battle. She's definitely dying though anyway, one way or another.
  
• Sylvi might fight against he Cursed, or she won't be in the war altogether.
  
• Adacee might do some fighting, although she's a bit of a pacifist and all. I imagined her being indirectly, the minor goddess of Things Lighter Than A Feather's Weight.
  
• Raven has her sun-powers, although she hates bloody gore, but she'll go to fight because she knows that's where Con'll be although she'll be on the gods' side, not with any rebels.
  
• Jean Grey has war powers. Mind moving powers. So, yeah. She'll fight fr he gods.
  
• Afti has healing and wounding abilities. She could be a rebel fighter/healer.
  
• Aliaalia is the hidden queen who's trying to hide from her past, literaly, and is looking for Ebon, Sylvi, and unknowingly Jessica and Niahi to piece her life together. She'll be t war and she'll be a powerful fighter for her 'training' and her 'magic' and endurance.
  
• Ondine will fight to get her anger out, but she might be a rebel. I see a conflict of interests coming up with her vrsus her daddy, Prosper.
  
• Prosper is a sweet guy but he'll be fighting. With the gods.
  
• Lucretia is a seducer, she's Cursed, she'll be on the bad Cursed side.
  
• Kratos wants revenge against the gods, particlarly the War Goddess, so although he is an epic fighter he hates the gods and his sense of honor's gone out the gutter.
  
• Mack will NOT be fighting. He's taking a (depressing) soul-searching guilt trip, the long, hard way around.
  
• Daenerys will fight because Khal (who she'll eventually hook up ith) is fighting nd Viserys is, too, though I think Dany here will fight alongside Khal's group or with the gods or both. But not with Viserys.
  
• Viserys will head up his own troop against mostly Cursed, some rebels, some good, it all depends on whoever stands in the way of his 'claim to fame', but he's mostly an honorable warrior so he'll be a good guy. In a twisted way.
  
• Khal Drogo will lead his rebel group that will fight alongside the normal horses, possibly targeting the rebel groups that he thinks are 'getting out of line', as well as the Cursed. He'll look to lead a big army.
  
• Kyrie. She's weird. She'll just listen, maybe be a spy for the gods, although she doesn't talk. She isn't exactly fully horse, she just drifts and hears and sees all sorts of things. I picture her as nature's way of watching what goes on. Maybe she'll do her half-kelpie thing and drag omeone to a watery death every so often to keep balance.
  
• Duchess Sophie does not want to go to war because that is where her betrothed will be. She hates his guts.
  
• Eisenheim will pobably fight, him being a mastery of magic and all. And sooner or later he'll come across Sophie and save her life.
  
• Lord Colin will probably fight somewhere, but only if he has to defend himself or a lady.
  
• Niahi is so little and young, she hasn't even found her powers. But when she does she'll be in the thick of war. For the gods, of course.
  
• Bexora will fight if she needs to.
  
• Daryn will fight with the big boys just to prove she can.
  

And the special ones!!!

• Neytiri is still on with the Valek/Hades/Truthseeker plot so far as I know. Valek being an assassin his outcome and Neytiri's will affect at least Hades and Truthseeker, maybe have some effect on the war, but it's not, like, going to rule the war. Otherwise Neytiri COULD go to war but probably WON'T. Unless her schedule frees up.
  
• Lena/Yulia still hopefully have the plot going with hoss and darrowby and mazzira. And I think in the time Lena lets Yulia take over Yulia could easily get them stuck in a rebel fighting group or even aligned with the Cursed, just to trap Lena.
  
• Kallistei has her own ideas.

Ok, so my list is gonna be constantly updated considering my character ideas are always being added to.

1) Valek-being an assassin he'll probably chose a side to work for and maybe Neytiri can disagree with what he choses or something like that. Whichever ends up with him can use him for assassinations and spying
2) Kyro/Taro-both of them will fight for the good gods but Kyro will be a little less eager than Taro
3) Dark Fire-will definitely fight for the Cursed. He'll probably have a fun time luring others to his side too
4) Desidema-the sassy, determined con master will probably trick her way into the evil ranks, get to a high position then destroy them from the inside
5) Jesse James-he'll be the one with his own little army standing on the sidelines waiting to jump in and help whoever he feels like helping which will change from day to day
6) Nightshade-when I put his bio up. He'll avoid the fight for awhile but I want his sister to die somehow so he'll be forced to fight to avenge her
7) Witchhazel- Nightshade's sister. She'll stay with him and end up dying in front of him
8) Kiandra-she's not much of a fighter but there's not doubt she'll be fighting for the gods
9) Kalina-Kiandra's evil twin sister will fight on whatever side Kiandra's not on, so yeah
10) Sol, Toki, Hydro, Sonya, Sid, Medic-will all be fighting on the same side together
11) Sai-i don't really know what he'll do. Probably fight for the gods when he's not being a loner with no friends
