FOAL his mother broke the news to him as a tiny foal, that he really was part vampire, and he'd started having blood cravings, which was fine in the herd they wandered with because they were all part vampire, more or less
NOMAD as a colt he was made to leave the herd and so he did, but in his traveling he was forced to hide himself from the world and in his hiding, he was chased and captured by vampire creatures more sinister and ugly than he was, and they held him prisoner and he couldn't escape until he found Rae and taught her to use her powers; after they escaped he didn't want to put her in danger so he left her, although he continued to periodically check on her.
HALF-CURSED as he'd been prisoner in the Cursed lands for a time, he is drawn like a magnet back to the place and can't leave willingly for long; even when he goes to visit Sylvi he can somehow maneuver past its defenses, perhaps because of his oddity, but it always finds a way to drag him back

PERSONA

SHY doesn't ever, literally, come out in the sun hardly, and stays in the dark because being in the sun drains his strength; he doesn't speak much and the few he meets he's been forced to hide his true self from, which is why he can't truly connect to anybody.
BRAVE although he is timid, he is really very tough and courageous and has seen many strange things, so nothing really frightens him, and he isn't even scared of finding love, if he can ever find someone willing to love him
VAMPIRE what he is is, really, part-vampire; he craves blood occasionally but is trying to force himself not to give in and conform to a normal diet, although if you look close enough he has tiny fang-teeth and his eyes, bright blue as they are, have no light in them

POWER

can render himself invisible for only a few seconds, and can teleport over very short distances, but usually at night because at day, he tries to stay in the dark to hide himself from the sun, that drains his power

UNIQUENESS

he never seems to sleep, he has incredible endurance and can sense everything around him, literally, even at night when his senses are sharpest
