Persona: He is very quiet, and very calm. His personality is hard to figure out sometimes. He is indecisive at times, and prefers to follow others rather than lead. He is a handsome stallion, with appealing conformation and a pleasant manner about him, and there is a certain charm to the way he speaks. His sense of humor is not great, but he comes up with a good joke now and then. He is a little spooky, and is slightly intimidated by meeting other horses.

However, despite these qualities, he is brave. There is courage hidden beneath those timid, humble eyes, a sense of strength and power. He does not fight often, but he is good at it. He is loyal, and protective. Even though he prefers to follow, he is capable of leading. And above all, he will pay the ultimate price, will give up his life if it means that he could save another.
History: His history is of little importance, but there is a certain piece of it that has shaped his character. He was born of a normal herd, by normal parents, and never really seemed to fit in in too many places. He was not the most handsome, nor was he the best fighter, and nor was he the most clever stallion on the rock. He invested little in himself. However, when he was a year old, he fell for a filly in his herd, and he really went down. He took better care of himself, and soon she realized how handsome he was. They started staying together, but Alvarez's father did not approve. So, being a stallion, he drove his son from the herd. It was nothing personal, it was natural.

However, Alvarez was determined. He wanted to be with the young mare, he deeply loved her. He quietly followed the herd, being driven off often, and soon the horses started to think he was creepy. But then did not know that he had been kicked out. He never spoke to anybody, yet he followed them. He was a curious case, and it scared some of his old friends.

Yet despite all this, he finally managed to see his mare. She left her herd, and they went off together. They were insanely happy for a few weeks, and then it happened. A lone bachelor, a wretched, seventeen hand brute took a liking to Alvarez's filly. However, when he realized she had no interest in her, he became angry. An unbalanced brute, one morning, out of nowhere, he attacked. Alvarez was caught off guard, and he defended his lover, fighting for all he was worth, but he was not good enough. When he fell into the dirt, the stallion charged, and out of pure instinct, he scrambled to his feet and ran. The mare tried to follow, but her way was barred. Avarez did not see this. He ran in a blind panic, and it was only after he was quite a ways off that he realized she was not with him. He ran back, only to find her dead, and the stallion nowhere to be seen. Even as he stared at her dead body, he looked into those lovely eyes, and could see the ghost of horror, pain, but more importantly, the pain of being left. He ran from the scene, and has been on his own ever since, scared of stallions and mares alike,
