Nobody is really sure, but she thinks that she comes from a Frisian/Throughbred/Arabian descent.
(She's right, but she's missing the Mustang part. Her father was Frisian/Mustang, and her mother was Throughbred/Arabian.)
Colour:
She is the darkest black of the night. Her legs are white, as are her throat and stomach. There are black stripes on her legs, and her mane and tail are streaked black and white. She has a wide white blaze.
Extras:
On her right shoulder is the word "Love" written in green letters. She's not quite sure who did this to her, as it's a tattoo, not her natural markings. On her left shoulder is another tattoo, in bright blue. It is the word "War".
Her eyes are the deepest violet.
Persona:
She's tough. She's so very tough. She protects her mind and soul with all her heart, and fights fiercely without bothering to check who it is first. However, once she finds herself among friends, she'll open up and become kind, yet still reserved.
History:
Nobody knows anything about her. She can't even remember. She's lost her memory somehow. But I'll write down her past here, out of sight of her eyes. She may not want to see her past..
It's a bloody thing, it is, war. A bloody thing indeed.
Her parents had fallen in love, of course. The classic Romeo and Juliet story. He was the King of his herd, she was the Queen of the enemy herd. They had secret meetings together, yet they still fought against one another in the fierce battles that their herds fought.
One night, it was a full moon. The Queen did not appear at the secret place, and the King was distraught. He feared the worst for her, and his troubled mind only grew more burdened with the fact that she was not there in the next war between their herds.
The King made the trip to the secret place every night, waiting. Several days after the war, the Queen appeared, with a tiny black and white filly in tow. She insisted that the King take the filly home with him, hide her away. She feared for their lives. While the filly was sleeping, the King and Queen combined their powers- his to change the color of small things, and hers to make things permanent and living forever- to tattoo the words "Love" and "War" on opposing shoulders, to forever serve as a reminder of her heritage.
When the Queen returned to her herd, her own King was waiting. His servants had seen her with the other King, and immediately were set upon her. She did not live through the rest of the night.
The filly's father, the secretive King, had taken the filly home and there she grew up. She was bold and confident as a young filly, but very soon that all changed. Stags began to infiltrate their herd. A plan was formed to overthrow her father and take the herd and the kingdom as their own. The one who had formed this plan?
The enemy king. The one who had killed the Queen. He hated the other King for stealing his wife, and ordered any horse that shared the King's bloodlines to be murdered.
When the infiltration was complete and the fight began, the filly, now named Amor, fought as hard as she could. But she still saw her father die. After that, she ran as hard as she could, desperate to get away. Eventually, she tripped over a log and whacked her head against the hard ground and roots of a tree, knocking herself out.
She lost her memory soon after, and has struggled in vain to remember.
Power:
She can detect lies. She knows when she's being lied to. She can still sense it when horses are stretching the truth, but she doesn't quite know if it's all true or not, so she's careful. Very careful.
