Striking Gold
Palomino brute strode smoothly into the Terra.Tassles silky against his neck.Powerful muscles moved smoothly under his golden coat.Nares shuddered, sucking in the breeze, clean and sweet,he gave a wicked grin, happy that no one had intruded.Swift but sturdy the brute made his way to the Ocean.Icy blue optics watched the rough sea,the same color as his optics. He gave a challenging neigh, calling for any intruders to confront him.Yet none came.
The stag watched the sea for a few minutes, content to relax. He gave a violent shake of his head and quickly sank back on his haunches, letting his back legs take his body weight as he reared."This land is now mine,Striking Gold,No stallion shall live before me or wish to",He screamed. He hit the ground with a thud, white sand rising around his hooves.

Deja Vu
Skeptical silvery eyes scanned the sandy beaches and towering cliffs above as a lone figure ambled slowly along the water's edge. Blue green coat shimmered in the sunlight and cool, confident eyes blinked to block out the harsh rays of light streaming in through the thick, gloomy clouds. A storm was rolling in. She could feel the distant tremors in the sand, only the slightest hint of rain, but it was there. she only hoped this stallion had a place to stay, should it arrive soon.
An explosive snort blew from her muzzle and she picked up a brisk trot, light hooves splashing in the ankle deep seawater she was stepping through. Not too long passed before her alert senses caught the golden stallion's scent. She fought the urge to neight, to call out, for the hurt in her heart was too great. Instead she picked up a brisk yet easy lope along the shoreline and moved toward the scent, then she saw him. His massive form guarded his terra and his alert eyes and ears seemed to catch everything. She slowed as she approached him, and strong words rang out, ricocheting against the tall cliffs.
"Well, Striking Gold, I'm here."
She took a deep breath, before she continued speaking to him.
"I'm just going to lay down my rules. I can follow you and learn to love you, but first I need a commitment. I ask for respect and for you to listen to what I say, when I say it, because believe me, stallion, I've heard and seen and known things you couldn't imagine. I have powers of knowledge, I know you forgotyour past and wish you could remember it. Much like me. My sister is with another stallion and no matter where she is, I will know. We have a link. We can speak...through our minds. Don't cross me, or she'll come for me, I know it."
She let out a sigh, and her eyes looked at the golden sand for a moment warily. Her words were harsh, but it was the only way she knew to get her point across.

Striking Gold
Tremors ran through his nares as he sucked in the scent that would haunt him for the rest of his life.Deja Vu.Golden fleece blew as the wind pushed against him,White Tassels whipped his at his neck.Ocean colored orbs searched the open beach,a slim figure making her way to him,Sea colored herself. He gave a loud neigh, welcoming the unique mare to his Terra. Her strong ,clear words rang in his harks, though he kept quiet as she prepared to speak again. Her words were harsh, yet full of confidence."Your words will be remembered Deja.If you want you can visit your sister at times you need to without my supervision as I know the little colt that took Inception will never get away with taking you."He watched her silver orbs as they wandered to the golden sand."Dear Deja,My Love. Will you be alright?Best we find shelter for a large storm is coming,".He turned around slowly, making sure the sea colored mare was following.Pale golden pillars moved smoothly across the sand as he mmoved towards the caves that sheltered near the back of his Terra.

Deja Vu
She stamped a hoof, silver and flashing like a rare stone, into the soft sand. She did feel a slight hum, a vibration through her hooves. It was an odd feeling, a slight twisting in her gut, but she ignored it. Instead she lifted her long face, eyes bright and glassy, piercing into the stallion's, listening to his deep voice as it rumbled in her ears.
"Stallion, do you really think I'm one to be worried over? And besides, I can speak to my sister through the link...I do not need to see her, for I hear her, in my mind. I know you yourself have some powers, the powers of knowledge. I do not know my full ability, but I can know things, too."
Her mind stuck, and her words stopped short. The world around her suddenly evaporated, and her body weaved on her thick legs which seemed h=like twigs about to snap. Suddenly her bodyweight was so heavy it felt like a thousand weights were pushing her down, down to the ground. Yet somehow she remained upright, even in the relentless spinning and twisting in her mind's eye which prevented her from shifting her weight, for fear she would come crashing down. Her lids blinked slowly shut, eyes rolling in her dazed head...
It was but a premonition, a vivid yet confusing blink of an eye. She seemed to look through a different body, and saw a black lake, pungent and rotting. She felt her body, stronger and wider, and looked down to see thick, chocolate colored legs and a flaxen mane blowing over her shoulder. A stallion stood nearby, and two light colored mares, a dappled and a light grey...
Snapping back into reality, Deja was bombarded by images, flashbacks, and suddenly there she was, in the seemingly serene setting, a golden horse staring at her with strong eyes, the distant lull of crashing waves on the shore. Waves... Suddenly, she was caught on the word, a fierce, burning question imprinted in her mind. She seemed different, felt different. Maybe, just maybe...
Deja heard the words of the pale creamy horse speaking to her, and eyes rolled to look at him again. Her legs shifted skittishly, anxiously, as she waited for him to finish. Casting a simple glance to the tumbling white water touching the golden sand in the distance, she turned back and spoke to him.
"Yes...Gold...we should find somewhere...I have felt the tremors in the Earth as well..."
Dazed, she walked after him, but was determined not to show her expression and displayed a brave face for the horse as she stepped around him and headed up the inclineing ground towards the cliff faces. Stepping carefully, she navigated to the cliff edge and picked her way a short distance until she located an opening,a deep, narrow tunnel which seemed to open into a larger space behind. It would definitely keep the storm out. She turned her head and neighed to him as she stood by the cave entrance, watching a dark, ominous mass of rolling clouds approach stealthily, and somehow she felt their oppressive weight bearing down on her pounding head.
