Moon
i walked into the breeding grounds hoping to find a good stallion or so i hoped this place was barren as far as i could see...the grass seamed to be dead...at places there was good grass for grazing but very little at that...i sighed ever vigilante...wary of forcers...i sighed and began to look around...there were no other mares around...i was alone or so i thought...i sighed "Oh boys who wants to come out and play" i called...taunting them with my sweet voice and then i would give it to them...if they where nice...i smiled and waited...i waited for some time...no stallions or other mares came to me directly...'i knew this was a bad idea' i thought...i sighed and began to walk out...i stopped...i thought i heard someone...i looked around...i saw something move in the shadows..or so i thought...i kept walking...keeping my eyes on the shadows...there is was again...i stopped and watched..it was fast...yet strong...i watched and called out " who...who...who's there?" i was somewhat scared at this point...i waited ...no reply...i stopped and looked to my marking on my rump...it was going to be a full moon tonight...'great...all the weirdos will come out' i thought and remembered how odd some of the old herds had gotten when it was a full moon... 'they went insane' remembering them always trying to breed me when the moon was full...'why am i cursed...' i thought...i sighed...still keeping my mind on the forest... i sighed and walked over to the shadows and hid...sure i would not be seen with my black pelt...the moon had come out...i was not surprised...it was full...i waited...for whoever was in the shadows with me to come out sure he was one of them who acted weird during the full moon... i was silent and so was the area around me...ever so silent...i heard a twig break...i went ridged...and waited...
