Striking Gold

He gave a look full of sorrow to the sea colored fae,He knew how painful it would be for the sisters.Yet it was their time to talk,he stayed quiet,Orbs searching Dejas'.He gave the mares each a slight nod,telling Inception he would try to take as good care of Deja as he could.Turning on his hind legs as Deja came to his side ,he gave her a small nicker and nudged her smooth neck.He gave a roll of his eyes as the stallion started talking about himself again.

He gave Deja a small nudge,trying to comfort her."A truce does not need to be spoken,I'll put up with you because Deja and Inception need to see each other regulary,Not because I want to be your friend".His eyes narrowed and glared at the hopeful stallion,wishing that he was not there.,He kept his maw shut as the stallion asked if the mares thought he was a baby.He didn't need to say anything to present his feelings about the colt before him.

Deja Vu

The stallion called Fire Shadow spoke a few words, and she saw Inception turn to him and nudge him. She heard her say a few comforting words, and then the grey turned her head to nod at Deja. She motioned for her to go with the stallion, her eyes caring and confident.

She turned to look at the golden stallion, eyes blazing. She felt a bit wavery, never expecting the night to turn out as such. She flinched a little as Striking Gold reached out to brush her aquamarine neck, but stood still. She'd need to get used to him. It was for the best they split, she decided, for the two of them would be ableto cover more ground if they were to divide and conquer. Now that Inception thought of it, Deja herself was, indeed, extremely curious and anxious for news of others like them, other siblings with their powers.

Deja turned to look at her sister one final time, and closed her eyes shut for a moment, concentrating with all her might to send her a few words.

Be careful, sister.

She turned away, a sad look in her eyes, and Inception did the same. The sisters parted for the first time, and for the first time, Deja looked up and saw a brilliant, fiery red sunrise, and it filled her with confidence and passion, emotions she hadn't felt in forever, it seemed. She looked up at the handsome stallion and decidedto herself that she could grow to like him, and she knew in her heart that her sister could hold her own. That was what Deja had taught her as her sister, and she was confident now for their lives ahead.
