Hush a bye, don't you cry. Go to sleep, you little baby. When you wake you shall have All the pretty little ponies. Blacks and bays, dapple grays, All the pretty little ponies. Go to sleep, you little baby. Leukemia Lullaby The night wrapped around her body, comforting her dark soul like a heavy woven blanket during winter's storm. And the gods knew just how hard the snow was falling on Tainted Paradise months ago. She padded along in the mist with the silence and elegance as a river gypsy. Her charcoal mane like a silken scarf, her dapples like a million eyes staring you right in the face, the blood in her veins poisoned. She had no serious intentions, no set destination. But she knew she wanted to be here. In the Cursed lands, far from the other side of Tainted Paradise. She was an outcast among misfits, how ironic. Even the shape shifting mare, and the canine stallion could not compare to her bizarre power. Never touching. Never feeling the warmth of another creatures skin against hers. At least not for more than thirty seconds, because by that time they would collapse into a foaming mess of pain. Joyful, unique, unholy pain in her eyes. Her eyes....large and smoldering with the fire of lava. A red glint in the middle reminded you not to underestimate her abilities. Suddenly those surreal globes took on a plane stare. She didn't stop though, it was like she was a moving zombie. Zombie...Her eyes rolled back slightly and images played across her mind like a movie screen.
There was a voice. Someone's vocals smooth in her aud. A female. A female with a coat very black and covered in rather frail hairs. As if she'd been eating rotten grass all her life. She smelt like a bucket of tar, too, and her mane was tangled and long enough to swoop over one eye. An eye that was not there, but instead a socket that twitched when the wind blew. What happened to that eye? Who was this mare, practically dead, whispering in her ear? Why was she so skinny? They weren't in the Cursed Lands anymore, either. They were some place much more different. A place with a color she has scarcely seen. It was fresh, ripe. It was green. A tree with fat arms lowered its spindly hand that had held fluffy green leaves on its fingertips and caressed her face ever so gently. The blissful moment of life was short lived, though, because at the touch of Lullaby's cheek it's bark withered and died.
"You are my Leukemia Lullaby. You are destined for greatness in this rotting kingdom. You are special, my Lullaby. Goodbye, my Lullaby. I love you, my Lullaby. Do what you where born to do, my Lullaby...." the stranger mare took her in warm embrace but her body did not drop to the floor. It was as if she was already dead. The dappled fae squeezed her harder only to stumble into the air,"Mother," she breathed the word that came most naturally to her. The next instant her eyes became vibrant again. She was trotting and a sweat had built on her breast. Lullaby shook out her tassels. The sound of water caught her attention and she looked down. She was knee deep in the Black Lake, crimson liquid staining her legs. Foul aromas entered her snout. The flashbacks were getting worse, but was the necessarily a bad thing?
Surprisingly, a few crickets and glowing insects were out and about. She was memorized as they skimmed the surface and hopped across lily pads. Plump little bodies bouncing around, playing some musical game only she could hear. Hollow heads bobbed up and down in the small ripples of what was a sad excuse for 'water'. It was mostly thick, gooey blood. The kind of blood that had been sitting a long time and lost it's sweet metallic taste which few horses longed. She however, bent a slender pillar and lapped up a few sips. Pleasure receptors deep within the lobes of her brain released large amounts of Dopamine and so she remained like a statue beside the bone-rimmed lake, enjoying the high... OOC(I'm not actually replying, but I'd thought I'd say that since she's in the Cursed lands she is now stuck here for all eternity.)

Eclipse I walked around the dreadful scene before me as the rotting smell burned my nostrils. I cringed at the horrible scene. I was in the Black Lake, a lake only filled with the decaying bodies of the cursed ones...the black liquid was supposedly called 'water'. I almost gagged at the thought of drinking the horrid stuff. It looked like poison. My white head looked around looking for a way to get out of this place, I wasn't planning to stay here, and the 'water', it would be the very last thing I would drink if I was driving insane with thirst! I quickened my pace as my white banner flew ot behind me like a ghostly flag along with my ghost white mane. I looked like a ghost in this place, I was pure white put I wasn't an evil spirit, I was merely a mare looking for someone to love, or a herd. My white long pillars touched the black horrid ground as I searched for an exit, a way out of this nightmare. I didn't even bother to smell as the smell of the decaying only blinded my sense of smell leaving almost tears running down my dark shiny eyes. My ears were pircked and flicked once in awhile to hear for any sounds but nothing...that scared me to death. All I could hear were the spirits of those rotting in that filthy liquid trying to get at me. I was galloping now. Everything seemed to want to grab me or kill me. I stopped as I was caught in some dying pieces of what looked like former grass. I looked around my eyes almost popping out and my ears flicking back and forth as my muscles tensed and I felt myself shivering. "Hello? Anyone here?" My voice was shaky with fear. Who else would be in this dreadful place? I had become lost myself and now...I didn't know how to get back. This was probably the most scariest land I had seen in the Cursed Lands. Everything about it seemd...well...cursed. I wished I had been born with some reallly powerful power like transporting, shapeshifting anything to get me out of here, put my power was a stupid shield. What use was it? It was pathetic! I snorted. But at least I was born with some power, but my shield couldn't help me here, and I didn't know when ever it ever wold help me. I waited for an answer as I hoped and then didn't hope at the same time that someone would reply. I looked at the pitch black water and saw the bodies of the dead and some hollow heads of former horses. My body was racking with shivers now. I felt like screaming, but what help would that do? Who would hear? My breathing quickened and I felt like fainting. It wold have been nice if I had another horse with me but I was alone, and lost alone, in the most terrible land yet. Anybody there? Please...I'm scared... I couldn't think of anything else to do, so I just shut my eyes and prayed for some help, some other horse or being.... OCC: Ok well, I hope this post was ok for your taste I'm not soo good at such long posts and just a heads up, Eclipe's power is a shield, so she's basically immune to all powers which certainly helps in this area with your mare. LOL! I don't know what muse is but I'll give it a shot! MUSE: stinks! Anyways...I'm thinking it's at least more than 300 words not including MUSE and OCC...hope this works for you.

Leukemia Lullaby The wave of pleasure was fading, and Lullaby was tempted by her shoulder-devil to sip the Black Lake again and seep into a doll-like state. As she dipped her silver velveteens into the pool a shimmer of white caught the corner of her eye. Crania lifted and she broke at the poll. The odor of rotting moss and bark disguised what she knew was another horse venturing her way. Feelers bent backward and twitched. That twisted smile unfolded. She murmured to the moving mass but wasn't acknowledged. Perfect...
She had managed to hide her rather large body in the brush behind this new horse, who was indeed a mare, quiet easily. Lullaby's dappled coat blended in well with the fog and splotches of the Cursed Land's canvas. The mare was fairly short and the deep groove in her forehead betrayed she was of Arabian blood for sure. Her age was a tad harder to figure out, but judging by her ranting she had to be young. Interested, Lullaby swiveled a hark and did her best to pick up on the sounds. She was mumbling something about her power. How stupid it was, but what was it? Unable to wait Lullaby escaped from the wooden fortress and presented herself with a gentle grunt, followed by several low whimpers.
"One should be thankful for what they have, rather than have nothing at all.." her words melted the sky. She was now diagonally across from the female. An adrenaline rush exhilarated her hear rate at the thought of seeing this mare drop to the ground in pain with a single touch. It had been a while, since her last, kill. She could use another just for the fun of it. Or maybe, a little game first? But then again, her mother always told her not to play with her food...
"Are you lost?"
[/color][/blockquote]________________ Words: Only 310, but we can work on length together. Muse: Nice. Notes: I can tell you are trying hard but I think I can help you make your posts a little better. Muse is like your inspiration or the level of creativity you have to, in this case, write. I'm not by any means an Advanced Rper, or barley an Intermediate one, but I will give you some tips. 1) Remember you five senses, or in this case, six senses because our horses have a 'power'. Taste, sight, hearing, smell, and touch can give you tons to write about. You have to put yourself there, be your character (I use to write a lot in 1st person). 2) You are good with punctuation, grammar and things along those lines, or at least in this post you are. So that's not a big problem. But to keep your posts neater, try and leave and extra gap between paragraphs. 3) Don't sacrifice quality for quantity. Just do your best, push a little more each time, use a Thesaurus to help you discover new synonyms and you will gradually work your way up to posting 600 words in a snap. Ok, let's keep rping. I think our mares meeting will be exciting!

Eclipse I became startled and spun around a t the sound of someone's voice. My muscles tensed and adrenaline rushed through my body almost causing my heart to stop. My white ears were flattaned against my skull and my nostrils were flaring violently. I noticed my whole body was being racked with shivers. I had been so close to a heart attack. My eyes narrowed as I saw a big mass in front of me. My nostrils flared but all that I could smell was the smell of reeking decaying bodies, smelling wouldn't do. I slowly crept forward slowly extending each pillar in front of me until I could make out the mass. It was a mare. My eyes became wide, almost in happiness that I wasn't alone, then I noticed something odd about her, almost evil. Her eyes! They were large but they were red, like fire. It intimidated me and my eyes narrowed again. Even her coat was intimidating, it was filled with dapples but they all looked like evil eyes, all staring at me. I was still shaking and I looked up at her face, in her red smoldering eyes. "He-hello, my name is Eclipse...what is yours?" I tried not to stammer but it was no use and my voice sounded shaky. "You speak the truth, at least I do have a power," I didn't trust this mare, she seemed cursed, like this land, but it wasn't her fault. It wasn't her fault for being the way she was and as I drowned in her frightening eyes I could almost tell she had an unhappy past. She had a long dark mane that surrounded her neck like a thick scarf, like a shadow and that fit with the area we were in. I tilted my head and looked at her. I needed to find a way out of this place. "Yes, I'm lost, could you help me find my way out of this area...please?" I tried being polite but I didn't know if that would affect her. At least she was nice enough to ask if I were lost.I flicked my ghostly white banner but I never took my eyes off of her. Then to my utter surprise I felt myself relaxing. I wondered if that was that mare's power. She didn't seem like the type that would help other horses relax. I shook my head and my face softened a bit. "Could you tell me the way out of this land please? I am lost and I have no idea how I got here in the first place," I said smoothly. I was surprised at how much more confidence I had gained my voice wasn't shaky at all. I stayed firmly on my spot and looked at her, not with narrowed eyes anymore. I let my ghost white sensors flick and pivote around trying to catch the mare's response. OCC: Another stinky post! Yeah...I wonder what will happen! I'm excited! I have no idea how many words I've typed. I'm guessing it's at least 300.

Leukemia Lullaby The unfamiliar female's body shook violently, as well it should. There were plenty of things to be scared of. Lullaby included. How terribly angry and humiliating it would be, to find out this one mare, probably the only mare in all of Tainted Paradise, was immune to her power. She would find this out in the very near future. Mocha-colored branches cracked under her weight, a thickly muscled mare she was. She kept her gaze low and hidden, waiting for the very last second to touch the thin skin of her potential victim and deliver that fateful blow.
Eclipse. What an interesting name. Lullaby's lids flickered open to release a smoldering, fire-red stare. She grew radiant for Eclipse shuttered and her own eyes grew wide like glistening eggs, fresh from a spring hen. Lullaby simply loved seeing that look of horror in her victim's face. It was, in a way, alluring. Now, she hadn't always been like this. On the night she was born into this magnificent world, it hadn't been so bad. Her mother knew better, though. She knew she was destined for a greatness that few wished to speak of. Death. Staying away from others was never enough. In the begging, she prayed upon smaller animals. Fuzzy ones, ones like squirrels and rabbits with heavy snow feet and carrot-sized ears. Eventually, she needed more...
Dammit. She did it again. Her face became stale and she was forced to reminisce her past. Blinking back the tears, not of sadness, no - never. The tears that dribbled down her smooth cheeks were caused by stinging, rotten wind in her unshielded globes. Recovering from her brief space out, Lullaby got back to business. The new mare believed every word she said. Like Lullaby really intended on helping her find her way out of this place, like one could get out.
"These are the Cursed Lands, you won't be leaving anytime soon." she spoke with complete confidence, tones hollow yet equally. Only a yard of space separated the pair. They were at the lake's edge, hooves dancing on the tip of a bloody puddle. Shall she drown her in the lake first, or just let her wither away slowly? There wasn't much difference, was there.
"My name is Leukemia Lullaby. It's a pleasure to meet you."
If she were a smart mare, she would take hint to the meaning of Lullaby's name. But then again, what was this mare's mysterious power anyways? Nothing of use, was it true? She bit her lip at first, pulling some sheets of skin from her kissers until she couldn't handle the wait,"Just what is your gift, Eclipse, which you are so unhappy to have?"

Dark Fire
Babe, they call me Candly Guy 'Cause I'm on FIRE
Some would watch the lake to see what monsters swam in its depths. Some would skirt squeamishly around the edge, unwilling to touch the foul water. Others would sedately drink then leave, but I was none of those. I, unlike all other horses in these lands, swam through the murley lake that was hued almost the same as my onyx coat. The dark water wetted my silky mane and tail, making it cling to me neck as I swam through the swirling currents as if they were curtains.
I sniffed the air, feeling the freezing breeze that floated over the still water trying to chill me. I snorted, amused that the air would think it could hurt a horse such as me. Without any visible signs physically I started a miniature wildfire blazing over my neck and back to ward off the chilled breeze. The black and grey tones of fire were almost unseeable against my onyx pelt even when I looked and were most certainly invisible to anyone watching from the shore.
The flame dried my coat, but did not burn any part of it. The dancing sparks raced down my back and ended as the black water lapped over my rump. I snorted at the cold water and sent a mini-inferno racing around me, turning the water into steam. I tossed my finely shaped Arabian head, sending the fire speeding over the water, towards the shore. When it reachd the rocks I turned it into something that could be best described as a bonfire, but truly it was bigger and a lot less calm. It was also black, which no bonfire had ever been.
I watched the grey and black tongues of burning hot insubstantial material reach for the sky, but give off no smoke. The rocks where it burned were charred black, but it didn't spred to find fuel. No, it stayed exactly where I wanted it, and that was quite close to two pretty mares that seemed to be conversing. I would probably end all conversation, but what was wrong with that? Truly, what was wrong with a stallion that should be cinders drying himself by stepping into a inferno? Nothing, if you asked me. Everyone had their interesting features, mine just happened to be the ability to summon, control and not be burned be fire. Well, the last one was alway in place, and I could always control flames, just my fire obeyed me better. As powers went, it wasn't really interesting. Elemental manipulation was a rather normal. Except that my fire was black, and needed no fuel to burn.
I broke away from my thoughts as one of my hooves hit the rocky bottom of the lake. I was in a shallow enough part to walk now. Once all four of my rock hard hooves was on the stony base of the lake I extinguished the fire. It disappeared in a blaze of light which would most probably alert the two mares to my tainted presence. I waded through the water, moving as if I was floatig rather than slogging through mud, rocks and other unknown filth. My onyx eyes watched them with cold calculation. Both would be good foal bearers, but there was something about the demeanor of the dappled one that made me shy away from the thought of cursing her with my spawn. The other one, though, the lighter toned one, she would be a good candidate.
Once there was no longer water lapping round my dark hooves and drops of water were dipping from my belly, tail, mane and head, I summoned my fire without really summoning it. The black fire roared into life and twisted around my in a blistering coccoon. The air around me seemed to shimmer as the heat contorted it. The tongues of flame whirled around me, creating an almost solid wall around me. The black heat dried my coat in a few seconds, but I kept my fiery whirlwind swirling around me for a few moments before walking out of it, leaving it twisting behind me like a tornado.
"Its a good day to become cursed, don't you agree?" I greeted them, my tone sincere and innocent. Normally I would just appear, breed and leave, but not today. Today I felt like playing with my food. My mouth muscles pulled into a small, scheming smile as I took in the two mares. Up close they lighter grey one was most obviously young, and extremely Arabby. She held her head high, just as her tail was carried like a feather. Her big dark eyes were wide and alert, just like most desert horses. She was pretty, but naive. And I hated naive horses more than untouched one. Truly, what was the point of living if you never allowed another horse to give you pleasure? It was so stupid, the whole 'I'll wait for my true love' thing. Unfourtunately, being naive was almost as bad, because whena stupid whore thought the whole world was a happy peaceful place it was annoying.
"To answer the question neither of you have asked yet but should have, I'm Dark Fire, also known as Fire Walker and Flame Bringing," I told them, my voice still nonthreatening and polite. I berated myself for this, because it wasn't like me to be all happy-go-lucky. Though I knew in a few minutes they would be suffering as dark fire engulfed their wombs and impregnated them with my seed. Yeah, I was so good I didn't need to touch a mare to give her the spawn of a Fire, but I'd much rather do it physically. It was so much more pleasurable.

Leukemia Lullaby Leukemia Lullaby was still anticipating the answer from this highly ignorant mare who stood before her against the tar lagoon. Satin whipcord flagged to the swooping breezes. It carried her scent away, a cruel warning to all creatures. Temperatures were falling fast, just as she liked it. She worked best in the night. Taking her victims by surprise. Argentate hooves dug deep into the worm infested mud. When a shallow sound rippled through her left aud, the glue-like substance adhered to her feet and made it difficult to lift her pillars up and around. She slipped once, stainless maw but a hair away from meeting the polluted ground. She casually recovered and meandered into the water. It seemed to sizzle when meeting her hostile skin yet managed to find its way into every crevice. She could have sworn she saw the faint outline of an arched neck, someone watching them in the distance. The predator was becoming the prey, and this did not amuse her to the slightest.
She rotated her crania away, not noticing the charred rocks at first. The smell was benign, and some ash floated into the sky. Ink dipped velveteens suddenly quivered and released a feminine sneeze. She shook her entire body and returned her attention to Eclipse, only catching the last word out of her pretty little mouth. Shield. Of course. What a splendid gift. She was invincible, practically. To her, everyone else was just a normal horse. Powerless other than there actually physical abilities and the knowledge god gave them. Marvelous. Now her heart was really pumping. She breathed a shallow breath and pushed her nose into Eclipse's fur. The soft, baby fur just behind her ear. She inhaled the tufts. That warmth of blood running through a real horse's system. She didn't collapse or foam or shake. She simply stood there, very much alive. Lullaby was flabbergasted, but the goblins of rage would not hide in their caves for long. Soon the urges would overwhelm her, and she would succumb like a loyal servant to commit those violent acts.
The tones of a male started off as murmurs in her head - just another voice like the others. They soon built into a solid three dimension figure. A handsome one, she'd give him that, his barrel olive-black. Luxurious tassels swooping over his face, framing his bold features and spitting out sparks ready to burst into a rancid flame. He resembled a fiction character in her mind, one that was not a prince charming. Anything but. An awkward finger scratched at the back of her head. He looked so familiar.
"I do agree, noble brute. My name is Leukemia Lullaby, or just Lullaby if you haven't the breath to spare." she replied comically while wading in the lake. She read his smile like a book. It was that fake, cheesy smile that he stole out from under some cheery filly. Dark Fire. What a name. Either he manipulated fire or...she's crazy. Lullaby kept her thoughts to herself. This stag should go away, couldn't he see he was interrupting her meal? She lifted a single foreleg and planted it in the tender grass, peeling back layers of filth until hitting something hard with the tip of her hoof. A tooth, a shattered jaw from some pathetic beast. This jaw had ferocious canines, though, which made her think dog. Disgusting beasts they were. Dogs. Didn't taste good either.
"What brings you here, Dark Fire?" she remained unblinking as he gazed them over as if inspecting. The fae plodded onto shore, belly dripping with thick, soupy liquid. Her normally clean, glossy hide was now fairly dirty and reaked of blood. She tossed her forelock from her view to get a good look at the brute. What she would give to feel him thrust behind her. She was a virgin, never getting past a rub against the well chiseled shoulders of a male before he croaked. She would give her right leg. Cut it off right now, warp it up with a twenty-five cent bow. Deliver it herself just to feel that pleasure with a stranger.

Eclipse I lay waiting for this intimidating mare to answer. I was slightly frightened as the mare gave me a heart-stopping stare, the bad kind of way where you would drop down dead. I was surprised as I saw tears, where they tears, yes, tears trickle down the mare's cheek. My white tail flicked and I looked around nervously. I wondered what she was thinking, but on the other hand, I didn't want to find out. My heart did a series of leaps until it finally plummeted out of my chest as the mare told me there was no way out of this horrid place. My dark eyes widened I winced back like as if the mare had struck me. "No way out?" I whispered to myself. I didn't want to stay here, it was terrible. Not in the Black Lake! I wouldn't survive this area for long without having a heart attack. I looked down at the ground and saw a little pile of blood at the other fea's hooves. Could it be? Yes, it was blood. I shuddered, I wished I could die, or faint, I just didn't want to see any other parts of this area. I looked up as the other mare spoke to me. "Nice meeting you too, Leukemia Lullaby," I mumbled. It was an odd name and the word 'leukemia' seemed to have bad thoughts in my head, I didn't know why. I had thought that I heard the word somewhere... I didn't have enough time to think about the word when the dark fae spoke again. I tilted my head wondering if I should tell the mare my power. Well, who cared anyways? "Well..." I looked down at the ground and slowly twisted my hoof around indenting circles on the dead earth floor. "I have something called a shield. I don't really know what it does yet," I murmered the last part and looked up. I serisouly didn't know what my 'shield' did. I flicked my tail as I noticed that my muscles had relaxed while I had spoken. My heart wrenched in a dreadful way as another voice spoke from somewhere. I focused my attention on a stallion. My eyes went wide and my muscles tensed. My banner was high in fear and my heart was beating at an unbelievable speed. I didn't agree at all for what he said but I kept my maw shut. This stallion unnerved me more than the mare. I wondered who he was, and what his name was and as if he had read my thoughts, he answered it. Dark Fire definitely suited him. He looked dark as ever and he probably hurt and burned everyone like fire. My eyes narrowed as I toook in his frame. This only made me hate this place even more, but I decided not to run, I stayed to my spot. I was surprised, I usually fled when I was this scared. My breathing was heavy and unsteady but my dark orbs were still narrowed. From what I could tell this stallion wasn't good at all. I snorted and flicked my white banner. I couldn't believe I was actually irratated more than scared at this point. I wondered how many other cursed horses I would uncover. I seemed to be unlucky. "Hello, Dark, Fire, my name is Eclipse," I was almost glaring at him now and each word I said showed what I was feeling right now. Irratatedand angered, and slightly scared but that wasn't so big. Each word were filled with hate even though I didn't know him well enough. I didn't care if he wanted to know my name or not. "Now what brings you here Dark Fire?" I thought I already knew, duh, he was cursed. I took in a deep sharp breath but I never tore my optics from the dark stallion. OCC: You didn't interrupt. Sorry! I was working on my site. Not such a good post, I just got back from camp and I'm tired!

Dark Fire
Babe, they call me Candly Guy 'Cause I'm on FIRE
A small, mischievious smile replaced the sickly sweet one that had been burning on my face. Happy didn't work on me. Not with my onyx eyes and cold face, but mischievious. That worked, it could be fitted into my dished face that demanded respect, but at times could seem like that of a two month colt. Except the latter one was hardly ever seen. Two month old colts were annoying, and had no place in my life. Unless, of course, I was teaching them how to be exactly like me.
Then the dappled mare, the rough circles burned into her white coat, told me her name. Leukemia Lullaby. What an interesting title for a horse, because, if I had learnt correctly, leukemia was a type of cancer that a poisoned a horse until they died. Well, it was possible that was her power was to kill someone with the deadly disease. That would make her name mean something, but other than that... It could be because she was as deadly as leukemia.
Then that next question. "Why are you here?" Was it really that hard to tell. I was cursed, and always would be. Afterall, why would I want to be any different. A cursed horse lived forever, but a normal horse didn't. I sighed in exasperation. Were all horses so stupid? Probably. Or at least here. In other places I'd been they weren't. In fact, some were rather intelligent.

Intuition You can call me crazy But I know better than that I know how to get my way Cause I'm all hot like thatThe chocolate brown figure stepped through the wet fog, her eyes blinded yet her mind telling her where to go. She smelt a new place, dismal and dark, and cursed. She smelt the drying blood of ancestors and heard the din of the distant, raging battles fought years ago by those who once inhabited this place, this place of horror, this place of bloodshed, this place of death. Truthfully, she did not have any idea where she was going, nor did she care. Usually she could tell these things, but now she was simply walking endlessly into oblivion. Her large, strong legs moved forward with grace and elegance and not a hint of hesitance or fear. The dark brown legs met with her sturdy, yet lanky body and then touched her blowing cream tail and light creamy mane blowing just off her neck from the light breeze. She stepped out of the fog, the air thinning as she moved onward, her breath heavy and deep with each long stride. She soon caught, undoubtedly, the smell of mares, and surprisingly a stallion's strong scent as well. She resisted the urge to call out to the three whose bodies were forming in front of her as she drew near through the thick jungle of a forest. It was not long until she herself joined them, her hoof hittiing a murky sand surface, wet and sticky against her hoof wall. It was quite a significant change in terrain, and quite sudden. She left the forested, dead area and now entered a clearing, a small spit of sand overlooking a large, black, filthy looking lake. She turned up her nose to it, her nostrils taking in its awful stench. Just seeing the eerie mist rise off the surface and the black, thick water lapping against her hooves made her sick. She figured, though, that if she was in the Cursed lands after all, she'd have to get used to it, for there was no turning back. She attempted, at least, to redirect her wandering attention to the three horses standing nearby. The foul smell of the water still stuck in her nostrils, but she tried to escape it by breathing in the smells of the three beings instead. She glanced at the mares, one greyish and the other dappled, and then the very dark, very menacing looking stallion standing there watching the mares. She did not offer him a dip of her head, for she felt it was not needed for her to bow to a stallion, especially if he didn't know her name and she didn't know his. "Well, hello, I do hope I'm not interrupting anything? I was traveling mindlessly and wound up here, but I do believe I'm in the so called Cursed Lands?"

Leukemia Lullaby Patchwork chrome female shook her heavy crania and dismissed the babbling stag. He could go lecture some ghost for all she cared. Tail snapped between her muscled cheeks and she spun around effortlessly on bent hocks, creating a tiny divot in the mud that filled at the speed of molasses with yellowy water. She watched the cheery little Arab remain in the awkward silence, unaware of what may or may not happen. This stag was trying to seduce them, or at least rape them. Was there much or a difference? Nobody really cares what happens afterward, it all leads to the same thing. A foal, unless of coarse, you didn't have one....for very long. Eyes thickened with a hazy film as she journeyed back to her past. Skinny gray lips quivered as she recalled hushing the twins in a sing-song, motherly voice,"Quiet now, hush a bye, don't you cry, go to sleep you little babies..." One a colt, the other a filly. Both were the proud owners of a water-manipulation power, but they of course had no idea how to use it. She dunked their heads under. They did fight at first, but once the icy liquid forced itself into their narrow throat tunnels they fell limp as a rag. However, their lifeless bodies were so heavy afterward that she could hardly drag them to shore. Perhaps that's when he addiction began. Tearing into their ripe bellies, sucking up the blood and leaving the rest for the gators. Perhaps.
A tiny, maybe totally unimportant movement in the distant land pulled her mind back to reality. Silver and white swirls of puffy air warped around what she could tell was yet another horse. Pearls pounced on her lower lip as she thought to herself, Well, three's a crowd but four...four's a feast. Corners of her mouth winkled in a coma-like grin that she maintained until the mare was yards away. She watched, a little dazed, as the fog dwindled into a sweet chocolate coat, rippling with dashes of lighter browns and reds. Lastly came her mane, Lullaby almost mistook it for more fog, but the golden current made a banner in the updrafts that was undeniably real. She poke fearlessly with a touch of idiocy when asking about their exact location. Jesus, horses could be really stupid sometimes. They need to open their eyes and look around, pay attention to where they are going. Lullaby rolled her eyes briefly, but at the last second noticed the new mare ignore Dark Fire, too - at least this chick knew an asshole when she saw one.
"There's nothing to interrupt, even if there was, these are indeed the Cursed Lands. No need to be polite here, but welcome. I am Lullaby." Lullaby left out the 'Leukemia' part. She would find that out soon enough if worse came to worse. This brown mare was rather plain looking, but her height was astonishing, nearly matching the stallion's stature, it made her appear rather masculine in Lullaby's opinion. Dappled fae pricked her ears and leaned forward to touch the mare's muzzle with hers. Only their whiskers entwined, like strands of hay in a mess, and only for a short second so as not to harm this stranger mare, but just enough time in contact to send a stinging shiver down her spine. Lullaby smiled and waited for a reaction, if any.

OOC - Withdrawing my horse from this thread. But if you want to roleplay with another mare/stallion, see my log...there are 36 or so to pick from...and I'd love to plot with Lullaby! Otherwise I'll just reply here randomly.
