Bristile
I am an ancient warrior....a Lord of Time.
Bristile looked around at his companions, and payed no attention to the two horses leaving. He sighed. He had always known it would come to this. All of them were in disagreement, and if they were, so would the mortals. It was simply the way of the world. He looked solemnly around at the other horses. "This is it," he mumbled to himself. He looked at Diablo, always on his side, and Hades, and Kallistei, Karii, and the retreating backs of Ember and Truth. The meeting was coming to a close, and it had been short. One of the shortest. It had taken merely a few days for the mortals below, and that had resulted in a three day thunderstorm. Not as dangerous as it might seem. The lightning rarely struck.
However, Bristile shook himself mentally of the thoughts of the poor mortals below and decided that it was time to speak. "This meeting, is coming to a close. I think you all know where I stand, but it is becoming impossible to reach a consensus at this time. However, I believe that we can all agree, that we will be leaving the mortals with this choice, which is the most suitable compromise: The cursed beings must choose their fate. They must either fight for redemption against the mortals, or wait for the judgment of ourselves in the afterlife. This is where the meeting stands, and this is where it shall be ended. I, Bristile, Lord of Time have called this meeting, and thus, I end it."
Bristle looked at all his companions, turned, and touched his stone, and then turned away. He walked through the tall grass and into the gathering mist, and he felt himself changing. His great wings grew out once again, his withers scraped the sky, and with a frustrated, and low growl that seemed to shake the very earth beneath his feet, he took off, and vanished into the mist. There was only one thought on his mind. With luck, most of the mortals would be accommodating, but there was another great flaw in the compromise: What if the Cursed thought everyone should be like them? Another, far more daunting prospect, and soon Cursed would be fighting Cursed as mortals would be fighting mortals. But in the end, it would not be a simple battle against the Cursed and the mortals. It was never that. It was never a simple battle against good and evil. However, if there was going to be a war, he and his companions would be a part of it. For certain, this would be a war of the worlds.
muse; getting better again notes; so, I think that is a good place to end it, you guys can do a few follow up posts if you want, but Bristile has officially closed the meeting. Time for the fun to begin *rubs hands together*
